About Us

We are driven by a deep passion for design, and we believe that exceptional design should be accessible to all. With over 20 years of experience in the field, we specialize in residential architecture, crafting spaces that are not only beautiful but functional.
Our goal is simple: to create homes that are fresh, elegant, and uniquely yours—places where you can live better, work happily, and become the best version of yourself. Each home we design is carefully curated with attention to every detail—from the layout and flow, to the choice of materials and finishes. We ensure that every element of the design reflects a distinct vision and a commitment to timelessness.
At Maison Dorcé-Jean, we pride ourselves on delivering the "wow" factor, that indescribable “it” element that makes our homes yours.
Beyond architecture and interiors, our vision now extends to apparel, embracing design as a way to expresss identity, culture, and personal story. Our clothing line reflects the same commitment to quality, elegance, and individuality, allowing you to wear your story with pride.
Maison Dorcé-Jean, formerly known as Atelier Dorcé, was founded on the belief that exceptional design should be accessible to all. This evolution reflects our continued dedication to delivering thoughtful, high-quality designs that enhance everyday life.
About Our Founder
Reginald Dorcé’s journey into architecture began as a young boy in the hills of Delmas, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He spent hours drawing and constructing small-scale models of homes using simple materials—rulers, scissors, cardstock, Elmer’s glue, and Gillette razors for precise detailing. Those early creations were the foundations of his love for architecture, and his passion has only grown since.
As a proud Haitian native, Reginald is deeply committed to sustainable design, understanding its vital role in improving living conditions around the world—especially in developing countries. His work is grounded in progressive thinking, community engagement, and a strong sense of environmental responsibility.
Reginald holds a Master's degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University. With over a decade of experience, he has worked with renowned firms such as Perkins + Will in Chicago, Zyscovich in Miami, DiCicco Vinci Architects, and Alexander Gorlin Architects in New York.
